What is Subscription?
You watch movies and series on Netflix, listen to music from Spotify, but... by Odin! – what is a subscription on your phone? And is a subscription the same as a contract?
To answer the second question with a swift axe blow: it's not a contract. It's a prepaid offer (including... eSIM! More on that below 👇), which renews every 31 days – thanks to a linked payment card. Just like that, for your convenience. You can cancel your Subscription at any time. Yes, you're not tied to any contract, unlike with a subscription. Why? Because we know very well that Vikings value freedom 🤘 and like to have a prepaid phone.
How does Subscription work?
It works like... the Viking Council wanted it to 🙃. Or as Odin commanded!
Here are its most important features:
✅ Unlimited calls, SMS, and MMS in PL and EU roaming;
✅ GB accumulation in PL: collect gigabytes, send them to others, exchange them for gadgets in the Viking Store, or help in the Rescue Boats;
✅ The offer renews itself every 31 days;
✅ The package includes a choice of: up to 80 GB (including 8.47 in the EU), 120 GB (including 9.89 GB in the EU), or 180 GB (including 12.71 GB in the EU);
✅ Play network coverage, up to 11 thousand stations, access to 5G network, and eSIM.
What's the difference between Subscription and Match?
Convenience! Convenience like on calm waters. The Subscription offer differs from our other offer – Match – not only in its more attractive internet package (80 GB, 120 GB, or 180 GB, whereas Match offers: 30 GB, 35 GB, or 50 GB). But it's also simply more convenient 👌.
You don't have to worry about roaming, because you have 8.47 GB or 9.89 GB or 12.71 GB in the EU. And the offer refreshes cyclically, via a payment card or prepaid balance, from which the renewal fee is debited once a month – exactly every 31 days. Simple? Like a paddle! However, remember that it's not possible to refresh the Subscription more often.

Then you're all set with payments! Thanks to automatic payments, the Subscription offer renews itself every 31 days. Odin watches to ensure this happens neither earlier nor later. No Viking has control over this.
✅ You want to communicate freely in the EU during occasional trips
Subscription is a great option for occasional holiday or business trips. Depending on the Subscription plan, you have from 8.47 GB to 12.71 GB to use in EU roaming. Plus, free calls, MMS, and SMS, on the same terms as in Poland 👌.
And what if you use more than the mentioned GB of internet during such a trip abroad? You can buy Domestic Internet Packages and get gigabytes to use in the European Union (10 GB in PL, including 2.37 GB in the EU, or 100 GB in PL, including 9.47 GB in the EU).
There's a second option! Top up your Balance with funds and use data transmission according to the Price List. This option might be more beneficial if you're not interested in a larger gigabyte package.
❌ You spend most of your time abroad, within the EU
In this case, you'll probably quickly use up the 8.47 GB, 9.89 GB, or 12.71 GB package and it simply won't be enough for you. Too little. And you'll have to wait until the 1st of the month when the EU GB package renews.
And that's not all 🙄. According to the Fair Use Policy, if you spend more time abroad than in Poland, you cannot use calls, messages, and internet in the EU for free. For each such service, the system will add extra charges to your Balance.
⚡ These aren't Odin's rules; they apply to all mobile operators. This is simply how EU roaming and the Fair Use Policy work. These are the regulations, so all you can do is throw your horns (or eyes) up 🤷♂️.
✅ You want to migrate between Subscription plans
You can freely switch from the Match prepaid offer to Subscription. Similarly, from Subscription 80 or 120, you can easily switch to Subscription 180 and vice versa. You can do this once a month, when the offer renews.
However, you cannot return from Subscription to the Match offer – you can't step into the same river twice. Not this time. This modern offer is built on entirely new grounds. But why go back to old shores when Subscription is so all-inclusive? 🍹
