Roaming UE

What is international roaming?

International roaming is a service that allows you to use your phone abroad by connecting to foreign operator networks. If you are in Poland and make a call to a foreign number, it is considered an international call.

Remember to check if roaming is enabled on your number before you travel. You can do this in the Viking App -> "Profile" -> "Number Settings."

Roaming within the European Union

If you have a Subscription, you receive a package of unlimited calls, SMS, and data transfer within the Euro Zone (in our terms, the "Euro Zone" refers to the area where EU roaming applies) every month.

For the Match and Standard offers, EU roaming rates are as follows:

  • Outgoing calls: 0.1 PLN/minute
  • Incoming calls: free
  • SMS: 0.02 PLN
  • MMS: 0.01 PLN
  • Data transfer: 8.94 PLN/GB.

Balance Top-up

To use services, you need to have sufficient funds in your Balance. To add funds, choose an amount between 5 PLN and 300 PLN as a one-time top-up (in the Viking App or on your account on the website) or enable Automatic Balance Top-up.

Automatic Refill is a service that automatically refills your Balance when it drops below a certain level. For instance, if your Balance falls below 5 PLN, we will add 10 PLN, charged to your payment card. If you reach your Balance Automatic Refill limit in a given subscription period, you can still manually add more funds with any amount (5-300 PLN). Automatic Refill is not activated by default, so you have full control. You can enable it easily in your Viking Account or Viking App.

Funds will remain valid as long as your number is active.

Roaming outside the European Union

The rates applicable in the area you’re visiting can be conveniently checked in your offer’s Rate List.
