In the 14th edition of Lifeboats, we’re swapping gigabytes for soft pillows. Together with the Serce od Serca Foundation, we’re making a difference.
Where are we sailing now?
In Poland, breast cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers among women. More than 21,000 new cases are diagnosed every year. And while the disease primarily affects women, men can develop it too, with around 150 cases diagnosed annually.
That’s why, in the 14th edition of Lifeboats, we’re doing two things at once: raising awareness about prevention and creating tangible support for women recovering from breast surgery.
Together with the Serce od Serca Foundation, we’ll be sewing post-surgery pillows — our Soft Lifeboats. It may seem like an ordinary pillow, but for women recovering from breast surgery, it can make a huge difference in everyday life.

What are Soft Lifeboats?
A small pillow. A big “phew”.
After breast surgery, even everyday things like sleeping, sitting down, or wearing a seat belt can cause more discomfort than they should.
That’s why, together with the Foundation, we’re making Soft Lifeboats — post-surgery pillows that fit under the arm, protect sensitive areas, and provide a little extra comfort for women recovering from breast surgery.
You chip in your GB. We turn them into soft support. And someone’s day gets just a little bit easier.

1. You donate GB
You chip in your gigabytes to the 14th edition of Lifeboats.
2. We turn them into materials
Your GB help fund fabric, thread, filling, packaging, and logistics.
3. We make Soft Lifeboats
Together with the Foundation, volunteers, MV employees, and Vikings who want to get involved.
4. Pillows on the move
They go where they can provide a little extra comfort during the difficult recovery period after surgery.
