How to perform a cession – transfer your number to another person?

If you want to transfer your number to another person, i.e., perform a cession, make sure that the number is registered in your name – we can only start the cession process upon the request of the current owner. The process begins when you send us an email at helpdesk@mobilevikings.pl. In response, you will receive precise instructions and a cession form, which must be filled out together by you and the person to whom you are transferring your number.

Depending on whether the new owner of the number is already a Viking (has other numbers with us) or a new user, the cession process will look different:

  • if the person to whom you are transferring your number is already our user, everything will be handled via email. In this case, the cession is completely free of charge,

  • if the new owner does not yet have any number with us, we will need to verify their details before transferring the number. We do this by sending a courier to their address to confirm that everything is correct and that the new owner is indeed the person whose details you have provided. If we follow this process, the cession costs 18.50 – this is the cost of sending the courier.

When filling out the form, pay attention to whether the person to whom you are transferring the number wants to receive invoices under their business details. In such a case, the information in the form must be accurate – the company must be active, and the person taking over the number must have the right to represent it (this means their details as a company representative must be listed in one of the databases – CEIDG, KRS, or REGON).

If you have any funds deposited in your account balance, don’t worry. Before the cession, we will ask you for a bank account number where we can refund them.
