Most companies organize some social media contest for their birthdays. Meh. Some entice with supposedly promotional offers. Meh. And Mobile Vikings? They're celebrating their 10th birthday for real and against the grain, meaning with their own people. Yesss, we invited the Vikings to a little party. And you know what? They came in droves. And it was viking-like!
Open Cabins
Of course, we started our birthday celebration with other actions and attractions. However, this was the cherry 🍒 on top, meaning a party at our office for our users (there was also a pre-party, but more on that later). And if there's a party – well, you know: there must be invitations!
We sent them out to our VIP Vikings (it's worth reading emails from your operator, oh yes – it's worth it! 😅). We would have loved to host all of you, but well… logistically, it wouldn't have worked out. So Odin cleverly dropped the guest list on the guy with the hammer 🤷♂️ (thinking that if anything happened, it would be T…hor's fault).
For our birthday "Open Cabins," we invited, among others: Vikings who have been sailing with us for over 10 years, record-holding Captains, our partners from charitable foundations, representatives from the Discord community, and our most active social media users. In this way, we assembled a crew. A crew of total Vikings 🙃!
Pre-Party
"Open Cabins" kicked off on Thursday, May 16th, at 3:30 PM 🚀.
How did the social mobile operator Mobile Vikings welcome its users? With bread and salt? Better – with Viking snacks and drinks! We ate, we chatted, and then it all began!
ViQueen Magda and Viking Maciek welcomed the Vikings with dad jokes (hey, some even laughed! 🖤). And we got to know each other better through speed networking. Then Frank and Magda, our Captains, took the floor. As they spoke, we felt so proud of how rapidly we're growing – thanks to you and the referral program.
Party
Finally, it was time for an unconventional office tour! The invited Vikings explored our 13th floor at Grunwaldzki Center together. They met the employee-Vikings and all the Mobile Vikings departments. Help Desk prepared a small quiz, and in the analytics department, you could play on a console (probably not Tomb Raider, though 😢). Generally, it was viking-like!
What happened next? We set sail on a beautiful cruise. Well, not on a ship, but in golf carts. And we didn't sail, we drove. To the zoo! After all, it's just a stone's throw from our office… or rather, a hammer's throw 🔨. We walked with an animal keeper and visited our she-wolf Luna. We waved at her, and she just lay there, grinning. She looked mildly pleased – you could say.
After-Party
And if it's an after-party, it's at the Africarium! It was, like… luxurious viking-like! Because it was exclusively for Vikings. A private audience with a hippo and a selfie with a shark 🫶. And then a party in the oceanarium tunnel. It was delicious and proud! And the conversations didn't end. What else? We won't say! Because what happened in Vegas, stays in Vegas 🌴.
These were truly Open Cabins. Yes. "Open" is the key word because we didn't know the word "distance." It was good to talk with another Viking. To feel the bonds of a true community. After all, we are the only community mobile operator in Poland 🤘.
And we're called that thanks to you. Because it's thanks to you that we're creating a network of people, not numbers. We showed this together at the birthday Open Cabins. Thank you 💪.
