A Revolution: 5G Network in Poland

First, a question: what is 5G? In short: it’s the fifth generation of mobile networks, much faster than previous ones. It offers significantly higher performance and reliability. 

Previously, Poland didn't have a dedicated spectrum for this technology, so operators allocated other frequencies to it – mainly those used by 4G (LTE) users. This wasn't an optimal solution. When Will True 5G Arrive in Poland?

Voila – it’s here! Starting this month, the C-band, meaning the 3600 MHz frequency, is operational in our country. From now on, the Play network uses it, and so do we! 5G technology on these frequencies allows for mobile internet speeds of up to 1 Gb/s 😱. This is why people are saying we finally have true 5G.

And Who Will Benefit from True 5G?

Anyone who's on a Subscription and has access to 5G. This means having a device that supports this technology and being within the range of 5G base stations ✅.
