Resetting your phone is the first step taken when solving more serious device problems. What are its types, and how to perform a hard or soft reset on your phone for different operating systems?
Phone Reset – When is it Needed?
Resetting your phone is useful when you encounter problems with app performance and system processes. It also happens that a specific device encounters obstacles when connecting to the operator's infrastructure, and clearing the cache via a reset allows regaining access to the service. It is also helpful when our phone is running too slow – restoring factory settings then allows refreshing it without needing to buy a new device. ✨

Types of Phone Reset
There are two basic types of phone resets, depending on your needs. A soft reset is the equivalent of removing the battery and putting it back into the device. Exactly like it used to be done when we preferred polyphonic ringtones. 🎶 Treating your phone this way will cause processes running on it to terminate and lead to clearing the cache, which usually helps resolve most software or connection infrastructure issues. 🗼
A hard phone reset is used when you intend to sell it. Well, unless you want to share your private information with the new owner. 😉
A hard reset, or hard reset, is another term for restoring factory settings. As a result of this process, all configuration data and files saved on the device are deleted. Use it with caution, unless you feel no attachment to photos collected over the years and saved contacts, or you store them in the cloud. ⚡ A hard reset is used when system errors prevent the phone from functioning correctly, as well as when you intend to sell it. Well, unless you want to share your private information with the new owner. 😉
