Request a Refund of Your Account Balance

In certain situations, you can apply for a refund of unused funds from your balance. Below, we explain when a refund is available and how to receive it.

When can I apply for a balance refund?

You can apply for a refund within up to 6 months from the moment when:

    • your number expires, or
    • you transfer your number to another operator.

In accordance with the Electronic Communications Law (PKE), only Consumers are eligible for a balance refund. This means individuals who use their number for purposes not directly related to business activity or professional work.

What do I need to do to receive a balance refund?

To receive a refund, you only need to provide a bank account number to which the funds will be transferred.

If you have already provided your bank account number, you don’t need to do anything else — we’ll take care of the rest.

How can I provide my bank account number?

You have several options:

1. Viking Account (online)

    • My Account → Settings → Details → Bank Account Number

2. Viking App

    • Profile → Your Account → Settings → Your Details → Bank Account Number

3. Contact the Help Desk - You can provide your bank account number by:

    • sending an email to helpdesk@mobilevikings.pl (from the email address linked to your Viking Account),
    • logging in to your Viking Account and sending it via chat,
    • calling +48 732 007 007,
    • visiting our office and providing it in person.

You can provide your bank account number at any time, even if you are not currently planning to apply for a balance refund.

When will the refunded balance reach my bank account?

This depends on whether you provided your bank account number earlier.

→ If you provided your bank account number before your number expired or was transferred

The funds will be refunded within 21 days from the date when:

    • your number expired, or
    • your number was transferred to another operator

→ If you did not provide your bank account number earlier

From the moment your number expires or is transferred, you have 6 months to provide your bank account number. Once you do, the funds will be refunded within 21 days.

In both cases, no applications or additional agreements are required.

What if I don’t provide my bank account number?

If you do not provide your bank account number:

    • before your number expires or is transferred, or
    • within 6 months after that dat

the law requires us to transfer your funds to the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE).

And unfortunately… not even Odin can change that.
