Everyone (probably) realizes that it's worth taking care of a new phone. No, it's not about entrusting your smartphone to Odin's care. It's enough to pack it in a suitable case. So, what's the best phone case?
We all know the saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Clearly, just as the power of a book lies in its content, so does the interior of a phone (well, design matters too). We can take care of both the interior and the design by choosing a good phone case. It can be elegant, but it doesn't have to be. It can also be completely ordinary, while protecting your phone like the armor of the toughest Viking. Let's find out what phone case will be a bullseye.
What is the best phone case?
We've known for a long time that we're lost without a smartphone. That it's worth getting a SIM card plan plus an internet package at Mobile Vikings also seems clear. You go to the website, check which offer is best for you, suddenly your beard grows, and you become a Viking joining the family. Simple? Let's get that out of the way then.
However, when buying a device for a few thousand zlotys, because – attention – that's how much your dream phone model can cost, you can't let it end up in your pocket completely "naked," along with parking change, keys, and a Viking axe – because that's what a little Viking's kit looks like. Indeed, there are armored smartphone models that you could probably use to hammer nails into the side of a drakkar, but we'll deal with those on another occasion. Now we're choosing a strong phone case for a phone that doesn't have Thor's hammer's power. Regardless of the manufacturers' assurances about the durability of your phone's casing, after a few months of intensive use, it may show clear signs of wear. A good phone case will help eliminate this problem. The choice of cases is so vast that it's worth adopting a few criteria before purchasing one. Tastes are not discussed, so we leave you to yourself here. However, a good phone case should be:
- durable,
- made of materials that reduce the impact of smartphone drops,
- suitable for the circumstances in which you function daily, e.g., at work,
- comfortable to use and should not slip in your hand.
Types of Phone Cases
The above features should characterize both an elegant phone case for a device that will be most often used at work, as well as simple, transparent bumpers. Since we're talking about Viking elegance, it's worth recommending a leather case, which will stand out with its original design and elegance. A good solution in this case would be a wallet or, otherwise, a book-style case. It's a leather cover that looks strikingly like a wallet, which, in addition to protecting the phone, also has compartments for bank cards or business cards. It securely covers your smartphone, so unsolicited eyes won't see incoming calls or messages. It can also be used as a stand for conveniently watching movies on your phone. Durable, stylish, strong – it will work great in a business environment.
However, not every Viking appreciates such vibes. A rubber bumper, i.e., a silicone, transparent phone case, will be more informal, but also comfortable and very practical. It fits perfectly with flat touchscreens, both protecting the back of the device from scratches and securing the sides during drops. Some models are equipped with a cover that protects the front of the device, but the screen can also be protected with a special film. Silicone cases can be colorless and transparent, but every Viking will surely find something for themselves among the hundreds of thousands of designs available in online stores.

A Good Phone Case is…
This is, of course, not the end of the possibilities when it comes to choosing a phone case. If you want to have your phone at hand, but don't necessarily want to look for it in your pockets or bag, you can use a holster that attaches to your belt. It's made of leather, equipped with additional reinforcements, massive, and intended more for older models. The features of this case mean that a drakkar operator or even a warrior can safely use it during working hours. The phone will emerge unscathed.
A similar solution, though not as durable, is a phone slipcase. It looks a bit like a holster (but vertically), so you can attach it to your pants belt. It won't provide the perfect protection that a holster can, but it will be excellent for frequent phone access. The device can also be packed in a pouch equipped with a drawstring closure. In such a bag, the smartphone will – indeed – be protected, but its visual effect will be effectively hidden from the world.
Silicone, leather, aluminum, fabric. The possibilities are vast, and manufacturers' imagination when it comes to cases reaches almost to the limits of Valhalla. From this selection, you will surely be able to find a case to suit your tastes.
