It's Wednesday afternoon, and that means two wonderful things. First, the weekend is roughly 48 hours away. 🌈 And second – a musical rescue is coming. ⚔️ So instead of relying on the YouTube or Spotify algorithm, rely on the Vikings! Today, Viking Maciek will take care of your ears, and while he's at it, he'll whisper a word or two about himself.
Meet Viking Maciek!
As he himself says – he looks at life with optimism, but he also really likes to negate other people's ideas. 😏 The Viking helmet was placed on his head with unction by Help Desk over two years ago, and today he proudly flexes his horns in the IT cabin. So, Viking Maciek eats the myth of the inarticulate IT guy for breakfast! 🍴 And what else does he like to eat? You'll find out soon.

What do you do at Mobile Vikings?
At MV, I'm a Software Tester, although I also worked at Help Desk before, which allowed me to have many pleasant conversations with our Vikings. Currently, I'm responsible for verifying the work of Programmers, so if something doesn't work, or works differently than you would expect, now you know who you can complain about. 🤙
What do you like most about your job?
Various tasks, lack of monotony, cooperation with wonderful people, the opportunity to undertake many projects, often unrelated to my position. 🦄
And what do you like to do outside of work?
I like to brew good (though most often over-carbonated) beer 🍺, besides that, building and tinkering seems equally enjoyable. 🛠️ I also fool myself into thinking I'll be a guitarist, but I practice far too rarely. 🎸

Your favorite food is…?
I'm open to everything (except marzipan 🤮), but if I had to choose, the latest food hit in my life is Poke – in a more fried version. Be sure to check out what it is, because it takes half an hour to prepare, and the taste is incredible! 🥘
And what playlist do you have for today?
For today, I have a playlist for you that should illustrate my musical career reasonably well. At the beginning, Linkin Park – a band I listened to throughout my childhood, but thankfully grew out of (the music is a bit depressing, though the concerts were awesome). 👶👨 Also, everything that came after LP. My latest revelation is the band Kwiat Jabłoni 🌸, whose album I loved almost entirely (a very rare situation) and I really recommend you listen to a track from this playlist.
Generally, I try not to limit myself with music and most often treat it as something utilitarian (for work, relax music on YT is mandatory), so I'll listen to anything, though no offense – there are certain boundaries for me, defined by heavy metal and disco polo. 😉
