In our dictionary, there are no words like "impossible" or "difficult." If help is needed, we don our helmets and take action. 💪 This time, we headed to the Bonifraters Hospice to support patients during their separation from loved ones.
The Bonifraters facility is one of those places that are rarely talked about but deserve special support right now. It's located in a quiet district of Wrocław, surrounded by trees that would take a Viking's breath away 🌳🌳 (ah, it brings back memories of the northern forests!). It provides free care for severely ill patients. – We try to organize trips to our beautiful garden. The entire staff is involved. We take patients out on wheelchairs as well as on beds. We've also resumed outdoor music therapy sessions – says Magdalena Naleśniak-Kubicka, the medical manager at the hospice. – We can't replace families, but we can share brotherly care – she adds. We share it too. We financed 10 coronavirus tests. Because to be able to help – you need to be healthy. 😷 #EverythingForOurOwn!
The hospice constantly needs protective equipment for staff 👩⚕️: gowns, masks, including surgical or filtered ones, rubberized gowns, and gloves. In front of the building, there's a special container where you can drop off these items. If you plan to order a larger quantity of masks, diapers, or gowns, do it online and have them delivered to the facility via courier. Visit the hospice website to find out how to help. Ahoy!
