At the end of July, we had the pleasure of participating in the One Year To Go event series, organized a year before the start of The World Games 2017 in Wrocław. We've prepared a short report from this event for you.
We simply couldn't refuse to participate in a sporting event filled with physical effort, extreme experiences, adrenaline, and challenges, along with good fun.
On July 22nd and 24th, at the stadium on Oporowska Street in Wrocław, we cheered during the American Football Champions League Final Four. Our throats were completely hoarse, because when the Wrocław team, Panthers, appeared on the field, we didn't intend to hold back. As our main goal was to make your time more enjoyable, we organized a contest. Before each of the three matches, the speaker, on our behalf, asked a question about American football, and you answered it in private messages on our Facebook fanpage. We gave three winners gold numbers and a year for free in our network.
A similar contest also took place during the concert at Plac Wolności. Here, you showcased your knowledge about the bands playing that day – Xxanaxx, Bokka, Gromme, and Kortez.
And to put theory into practice, during the non-Olympic sports workshops at Plac Społeczny, we played a match: Vikings vs. Panthers Wrocław. After the match, you could relax and charge your phones in our chillout zone.
