One of these ways is to turn unused gigabytes into good deeds, i.e., by participating in the Lifeboats project. ≋
What are the Lifeboats?
We know that Viking hearts 💓 are full of goodness and a desire to help. That's why we created the Lifeboats project so that Vikings' goodness can set sail from their hearts onto the open waters. How does it work?
👉 First, we collectively choose a cause: a person or foundation we want to help.
👉 Then, we organize a GB collection.
If you're a Viking and have a few gigabyte savings, you can help us help others and dedicate them to doing good.
👉 Next, we turn the collected gigabytes into gold, 💰 specifically into Polish zlotys, and use them to perform a good deed.
The bottom line is that by donating gigabytes you no longer need, you can make a positive impact on the world. And that will make not only those who receive help feel better, but you too. Because helping others boosts one of the happiness hormones – oxytocin. 🔝
Where have the Lifeboats sailed to with their help?
The next, 10th edition of our rescue program is approaching. It's a good time to summarize what we've achieved so far.
- The most important thing, of course, is the number of gigabytes donated by Vikings. Through 9 editions, we managed to collect a total of 190,030 GB.
- We turned these unused gigabytes into 63,343 PLN.
- The most gigabytes, as many as 68,430 (converted to 22,810 zł), were donated by you during the 7th edition for children from Ukraine.
And now for some fun facts.
- The most generous Viking, Przemysław, donated as much as 1210 GB.
- The most generous Vikings are the Michałów. And among the ViQueens – the Anias.
- Warsaw, Wrocław, and Krakow are the cities that donated the most gigabytes.

Where will the Lifeboats sail to next?
In June, the next edition of the Lifeboats will launch. The direction it will sail in has been chosen by the Vikings.
