Noble Box - we probably don't need to introduce this project to anyone. Pandemic year or not, we need to help, so we rolled up our sleeves, put Santa hats on our helmets, and prepared a package. 🎁 And we weren't alone in this – you helped us, Vikings, by transferring your GB for this noble cause! Curious what we achieved together this way? In short: the joy of a certain family. 👪 And at length...
Fundraiser, Vikings!
There was little time, as usual. We launched the campaign on November 23rd, and had exactly 2 weeks to complete the task. So, there was a general mobilization of the Viking army, and the information went out to all units sailing under our flag. 🚣♂️⛵🛥️ In response, you sent us a whole armada of lifeboats, in which you placed a total of – attention – 11100 GB, which is 3720 PLN! We added the cherry on top of this wealth ourselves at the Command Center. 🍒 Our team added another 1772 PLN from their private pockets. A lot, or a little? Remember, none of us is a corporation, more of a family business. 😉 Then we put these two amounts together, and quick math showed that we could fill our Noble Box with goods worth 5492 PLN. Real money for the real needs of a specific family from Wrocław.
But money doesn't bring happiness...
…shopping does! 🛒 We assigned our experts to this task: Viqueen Basia and Viqueen Ola, who prepared a Christmas shopping list and set off to fulfill it at the mecca of Lower Silesian consumerism, i.e., Bielany Wrocławskie. The girls found everything they needed there, and even more. What was purchased?
- Computer equipment for children's learning 💻
- Winter clothes and shoes 🧥
- School supplies ✏️
- Mattresses 🛏️
- A supply of food and cleaning products 🥫
We also added some real Christmas gifts at the family's special request: Lego blocks, books, wireless headphones, and a plush dog. Because what kind of Christmas is it without a plush dog? 🐶

And after shopping, we went to pack
The last stage of the campaign was packing the gifts, because the Noble Box – as the name suggests – must look presentable. Each package had to be appropriately light and decorated. 🎀 Cleaning supplies and food went into separate reindeer-themed boxes, and the gifts were personally wrapped by us in festive paper. Then, all that was left was to load 34 packages into two cars (and the shopping fit into one, interesting…) and transport them to the Christmas Box warehouse. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, in the pandemic year, it wasn't possible to hand over the gifts to the family in person. 😷 So, we handed over our gifts to Julia, who is responsible for "our" family within the campaign. We just made sure she remembered the content of the wishes to pass on.
And just like that, a good deed for Christmas done. Thanks to you, Vikings – you are the best crew… I mean, box. A Christmas box! 🎁
