Remember last month when we wrote on the blog about the “Connect Yourself!” campaign, aimed at introducing seniors to the virtual world? We already mentioned back then that the training sessions were just the beginning, and the whole initiative would soon expand into a social campaign. Today, we're revealing more. Curious?
The Wrocław restaurant Stół na Szwedzkiej – on one side, Łukasz, the author of the culinary blog Food2 and co-author of the cookbook “Wrocławskie Podróże kulinarne” (Wrocław Culinary Journeys) with his laptop, and on the other – Pani Stanisława from the Wrocław Senior Center with her old notebook, stuffed to the brim with recipes passed down through generations. Want to see how the breaking of intergenerational barriers went at the kitchen counter? We invite you to watch. 🙂
Were you also charmed by this duo? From our side, we'll just add that both dishes tasted delicious!
And you, what are your ideas for connecting your grandparents to the internet?
P.S. We've had another training session, this time on saving, formatting, and editing photos. The attendance and engagement of the seniors were great once again. Follow our blog and Facebook profile, where we'll keep you updated on further activities within the “Connect Yourself!” campaign.
