We discussed the basics of cryptocurrency trading, investment methods, and whether Bitcoin will lose or gain value during Startup Bez Tajemnic, which took place on March 20th at the Student Culture Zone of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The 5th edition was incredibly popular, and the hall buzzed with excitement.
Cryptocurrencies are currently a very hot topic, which was palpable during the 5th edition of our Startup Bez Tajemnic meeting. The Student Culture Zone hosted crowds of people interested in how to acquire cryptocurrencies or methods of investing in them. The first speaker was Krzysztof Szumny, who talked about STEEM, a decentralized social media engine. He introduced us to the Steem ecosystem, discussed applications based on the Steem blockchain, and also touched upon Smart Media Tokens.
The next speaker was Piotr Wach, who presented a practical approach to trading – he answered the question of what trading is, what its goals and types are, and also explained the difference between exchanges and currency exchange offices.
dr hab. Witold Srokosz, who presented the topic from a more economic and legal perspective. In his presentation “Ethereum, or an alternative to Bitcoin (?)” – he discussed, among other things, blockchain systems that allow for the conclusion and execution of smart contracts.
In turn, Wojciech Grzelak presented the topic “token + p2p = revolution,” within which he discussed the applications of tokens and also spoke about Quantoro, of which he is the founder, i.e., a decentralized fiat currency exchange.
The immense interest in the topic of cryptocurrencies was palpable, especially during the discussion with the speakers, where many intriguing issues and questions arose.
