2. Google Pixel 4A
In this case, we're dealing with the latest model from Uncle Google. So new that at the time of writing this text, it's still not officially available in Poland. Again, this won't be a small smartphone that leads in benchmarks when it comes to performance or camera resolution. Nevertheless, in the category of price/quality ratio, it seems to be a very interesting option. Despite not wanting to compete with flagships, it's still a solid contender with excellent photo quality and a high-class Snapdragon 855 chipset. 🐉 The 90Hz screen refresh rate (5.81 inches) allows for smoother interactions. Needless to say, when it comes to any software updates, you're first in line for the new Android. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) You can also choose a (more expensive) version with 5G.

3. iPhone 12 Mini
An analogous situation to the Google Pixel 4A – this model is still not available for mere mortals this side of the Vistula. In this case, it's because it has just been unveiled, and its global release is scheduled for November. 🍂 So you can count on (almost) the best configuration the giant offers, while also keeping in mind that compactness is the hallmark of this model (if its name hasn't already led you to that conclusion). What does it offer? Two high-quality lenses, an OLED display, increased water resistance and durability compared to last year's model. This little one has a 5.4-inch screen!

4. Huawei P40
If you can't find your place in the age-old battle between (to put it mildly) Android enthusiasts and those who prefer the bitten apple, then Huawei phones will be your ideal starting point. The phones are based on their proprietary operating system, but that doesn't change the fact that they remain an interesting alternative, as they don't lag behind the aforementioned competition in terms of hardware. The most prominent strengths are the very good camera (specifically, an integrated triple camera module), equally good performance, a very fast biometric sensor, and 5G network support. 👾 It might not be a very small smartphone, but 6.1 inches is still quite compact.

5. iPhone 11 Pro
The dust has settled after the Apple conference, which means that last year's flagships have discreetly disappeared with it. The iPhone 11 Pro was one of them, and its base version can easily be included in this list. A 5.8-inch display, excellent photo quality thanks to 3 lenses (ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto) and equally powerful components. While you can no longer get it from the manufacturer's website, you can still find it at a relatively attractive price (considering the release of new flagships) from authorized Apple partners. 🍎
