The Vikings once again showed GIGA generosity and commitment🤩. They donated their 💻Gigabytes💻 for a noble cause, and in GIGA quantities at that💪. We are incredibly happy that Mobile Vikings users have such GIGA big hearts💗💗💗. Thanks to them, the eF Kropka foundation received equipment worth 6681 PLN🤑.
Lifeboats⛵ is a project we are particularly proud of. This is because it is both an expression of our values and operating philosophy, as well as one of the Vikings' favorite functionalities 🚀. So, how does it work? Most of our users benefit from an offer that gives them the ability to ACCUMULATE GB🏆. This means that if in one month a Viking spent more time reading analog books📚, and less time playing online games or searching the internet for a bigos recipe👨🍳, then nothing is lost. Unused gigabytes carry over from one month to the next😊, and the Vikings can do whatever they want with them. We, in turn, periodically suggest an idea💡 for how they can be used for a just, good, and very important cause.
Help from the heart for the mind
So far, we've suggested 6️⃣ such ideas, and here we'll talk about the latest one. This time, we decided to collect accumulated gigabytes for the eF kropka foundation. What does this institution do? It's best answered by quoting their MISSION🎤:
As a foundation, we strive to increase the participation of people experiencing mental crisis in social life and to broaden public awareness of mental disorders and crises.
We decided that after months of isolation, anxiety, and increasing global instability, psychological support is a field worth supporting. And, as it turned out, the Vikings shared our opinion👌. The challenge we set for our users was to collect 1️⃣ 8️⃣ 0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ gigabytes in 31 days. We succeeded. But not in a month, but in a week😮. We collected exactly 1️⃣ 8️⃣ 3️⃣ 9️⃣0️⃣ gigabytes, which we then converted into zlotys.
A Voyage to the Foundation
The total value of the donation was 6️⃣6️⃣8️⃣1️⃣ PLN, which we used to purchase equipment and deliver it to the foundation. And what did we donate and what joy did it bring? Let the foundation itself tell you.
