We believe in our Vikings and their good hearts ❤️. But the latest edition of the Rescue Floats surprised 😮 even us. With the help of as many as 899 Vikings, we managed to collect almost 70,000 accumulated GB, which translates to PLN 22,810! We donated it to the "ISKIERKA" Aid Association 🔥.
This part of the post is for readers who are just getting to know us and don't know what Rescue Floats and data accumulation are. Data Accumulation
A few words of introduction for the newbies. Let's start with data accumulation. Well, if you're a Viking, for example with the Perfekt MATCH offer for PLN 25, you get 25 GB of internet from us (by the way, you can now take advantage of a promotion and get it for 🤑PLN 12.50🤑 for 3 months). If in a given month you go jogging 🏃 with downloaded playlists and don't use data for streaming, your unused data does a KIC 🐇 and rolls over to the next month.
Good Deed Accumulation
But sometimes it also happens that there are several months in a row where a Viking uses little internet, accumulating a mountain ⛰️ of gigabytes. They can, of course, use it for a very intense binge-watching marathon 💻📼🤯 of series that have 10 seasons. However, if you don't feel like it, what then? At this point, Mobile Vikings appears on a white horse 🎠 and offers two options: shopping in the Viking Store for gigabytes or converting them into a good deed, i.e., participating in our Rescue Floats project. The principle is simple: Vikings give away their unused data, and we act as a virtual currency exchange 💰 combined with a charity organization. First, we convert gigabytes into zlotys (at a rate of 3 GB = 1 PLN), and then we donate them to a noble cause 🤗.
Accumulating Help
The last edition of Rescue Floats was the 7th installment of this project. And in all respects, it was a record-breaking and extraordinary edition 😲. This extraordinariness stemmed primarily from the context. It took place in the initial phase of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, a time when the hearts 💓 of not only Vikings but practically most Poles opened up greatly to help our brothers and sisters from Ukraine 🇺🇦. This situation also determined what we were collecting gigabytes for. We decided to support the "ISKIERKA" Aid Association, which deals with, among other things, psychological assistance for immigrants from Ukraine 🇺🇦.
The collected sum also allowed "Iskierka" to open additional groups for children who have difficulty mastering the Polish language or cannot use it at all. And this is just the beginning of using the funds that were obtained thanks to our users.
