Another edition of #RUNVIKINGS is launching – an event where brave athletes take on the challenge of running a route of a specific shape. This time, it's a Viking sword.
"We expected our community to show incredible creativity and perseverance during the first edition of the #RUNVIKINGS contest, but the final result exceeded our expectations. The competition jury had a hard time choosing the winners. Since fun that also allows Vikings to take care of their health and fitness should last as long as possible, we are launching another stage of the challenge," says Bartek Grabowski, Head of New Business at Mobile Vikings.
Let's recall the rules of the #RUNVIKINGS contest. Before each of the three editions of the Survival Race this year, a task will be set, involving running a route of a specific shape using a tracking app, such as the popular Endomondo. After the training session, the participant should take a screenshot of the route run and post it on their Instagram profile, tagging it with #RUNVIKINGS. Interesting training photos, while not mandatory elements of the contest, will certainly be welcome. Fit Vikings have a precisely defined time to complete each task before each challenge. After this time, the jury will select the winner. When judging, the following will be considered – accuracy of the shape run, creativity, and distance. During all three editions, prizes include 3 Yi Action Cameras, 24 free vouchers for a selected edition of the Survival Race, and 63 months of Mobile Vikings for free.
The challenge during the second stage of #RUNVIKINGS, in preparation for the Warsaw edition of the Survival Race, involves running a Viking sword and posting a screenshot of the route on Instagram with the tag #RUNVIKINGS. Participants have until June 17th to do this.
