Blocking Xiaomi ads requires two steps. The first is to disable personalized suggestions, and then you need to revoke the authorization of the MIUI System Ads service.

- Go to Settings
- Go to Passwords & security
- Select Privacy, then Ad services
- Turn off the Personalized ad recommendations service
How to disable ads in Xiaomi – Step 2 – MIUI System Ads
This step may require several attempts, as for "unknown reasons" it is not always possible to disable authorization on the first try (oh, those cunning Chinese and their approach to technology).
- Go to Settings
- Select Passwords & security
- Go to Authorization & revocation
- Disable authorization for the msa service and wait 10 seconds
- If disabling fails, repeat until successful!
Now, all you have to do is restart your phone, and system ads in Xiaomi should no longer be a problem.

How to disable ads in Xiaomi – Applications
For applications pre-installed in the system, each can still display typical Xiaomi ads based on its own settings. To disable them, you have to do it in each app separately. The procedure is always the same, but the service names may differ.
- Go to Settings
- Select Advanced
- Disable the ad service. It may have different names:
- Show ads
- Personalized recommendations
- Show recommended content
