In response to the increasingly common waves of hate, indifference towards others, and spreading coldness, the Vikings have decided to take care of our good communication. Today, the #Pozdromocni campaign was launched, complemented by an application on our Viking Facebook. Krystyna Czubówna and Robert Gonera were invited to collaborate on the campaign.
The daily relationships of most compatriots can be divided into a narrow circle of loved ones and a vast world of strangers – whose good mood or interests we rarely care about. When interacting with them, Poles often appear gloomy, focused on themselves and their own problems. It's no wonder that kindness seems to be a scarce commodity in Poland.
In the rush of duties and extra activities, we often forget that a smile has a magnetic power. It's what makes us more open, kind, and joyful. We only offer warmth to a narrow circle of people we completely trust. Conversely, we treat the lack of smiles on strangers' faces as normal. And it's a shame.
– During the campaign, we wanted to present its assumptions and content in an accessible way. We decided to invite Krystyna Czubówna to collaborate, who agreed to record the narration for our teaser. Czubówna talks about interpersonal behaviors in the film. We wanted it to resemble documentaries, where we've often heard her. We also engaged Robert Gonera, who is associated with Wrocław, just like the Polish Viking team. Robert has a strong character, he is expressive and genuine, and above all, he evokes sympathy, which is extremely important in this campaign – explains Bartek Grabowski, Head of New Business at Mobile Vikings Polska.
Mobile Vikings, wanting to break Polish reserve and show that it's worth being open to others, has created a special application for sending greetings. We can send greetings in the form of a recorded video or photo to people we see every day but lack the courage or boldness to say hello. We can record warm words for old friends with whom we've lost contact long ago, and also dedicate a video to a dear colleague. If we want to send holiday wishes to our loved ones in an unconventional way, the app will also help us with that.
To draw attention to the problem and invite people to discuss it, we have prepared an interactive platform. From December 11th to 14th, you will be able to record greetings yourself on special screens in Wrocław. Each day of the campaign, they will appear in a different location: at the Factory shopping mall, Sky Bowling in Sky Tower, the airport, and Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

The campaign will last until December 24th, 2015. The progress of the action will be reported on our blog.
