The 9th edition of our Lifeboats, which support families, has just concluded. This time, the generosity and speed of action surprised us exceptionally! 🥳 You approached donating your accumulated GB with remarkable enthusiasm. A dozen or so hours... and the goal was achieved! Well done, Vikings! Thanks to the engagement of our community, we collected 28,230 GB, which we converted into 9,410 zł. But let's start from the beginning...
What are Lifeboats?
The initiative was created in cooperation with Vikings who want to do good and support a chosen charitable cause for each edition.
Lifeboats work as follows:
- A Viking wants to donate accumulated GB.
- We take the GB package indicated by them and put it into the virtual Mobile Vikings exchange.
- Inflation hasn't affected exchange rates at Mobile Vikings. 🤑 For every 3 GB donated, we add 1 zł to the piggy bank.
- With the collected zlotys, we purchase necessary aid as part of the Szlachetna Paczka (Noble Parcel) campaign.
Who are we supporting in the 9th edition of Lifeboats?
This time, we are channeling the Vikings' generosity into support for Szlachetna Paczka. 💪 We want to help Mr. Jan, who is raising two children on his own: Patrycja and Łukasz. The man struggles with health problems that make his daily functioning difficult. Mr. Jan works as an operator of water treatment devices.
The Family's Needs
The family's main needs include: food, winter clothing, and school supplies. Additionally, we will also take care of purchasing special gifts for the family members:

🚂 old models of trams or buses,
💃 A Baby Born-type doll.
Express Collection
We always knew that Vikings are creatures with kind and very generous hearts. In this edition of Lifeboats, you also showed... incredible speed. 🏃 Our goal was to collect 18,000 GB. To our surprise, the lifeboat was filled with donated GB in less than 12 hours! 😯 We collected a total of 28,230 GB. 💪 The initiative was supported by 430 Vikings, of whom 355 engaged with Lifeboats for the first time. 🥳
