Probably everyone has at least one email address. After all, it's needed, among other things, to create and manage a Google or Apple ID. Receiving and replying to emails is a daily routine for many of us. That's why we often use our smartphones for this – we get notifications, and messages are at our fingertips. It's best to manage your inbox through email clients. Let's see what's the best email client for smartphones.
Gmail – is it the best email client?
Gmail is probably the most well-known app for managing an email account. On Android smartphones, it's practically a standard – nowadays, almost every model comes with the Google app package pre-installed (except for newer Huawei smartphones). Gmail's interface is very clear. By default, there are various folders, including "Social" and "Promotions". The first one should automatically receive all notifications from social media, and the second one various newsletters, etc. We can create and modify folders ourselves. Of course, message filtering is included – suspicious ones go to spam. We can easily schedule email sending for any day and time. Among the options, we have the ability to add a custom signature to each email.
If we use many Google services, Gmail is the best email client. From the app, we can go to Google Calendar and Contacts. When we log into any Google account, it's immediately linked to Gmail, and switching between individual accounts takes literally two clicks.
It's worth knowing that Gmail is available for both Android and iOS smartphones. In both cases, it's a free email client. We can also connect other, any email accounts to the app, including popular Polish accounts on Onet or WP.
Microsoft Outlook – an email client not just for business
Time for the second major player. This is, of course, Microsoft and its Outlook. It's an email client that might be associated with companies and corporations equipped with the entire Office 365 suite. At the same time, many people use these solutions in a home setting, including the mobile version.
Microsoft Outlook email client is free for both Android smartphones and tablets, as well as iPhones and iPads (iOS). The app has a clear interface and is convenient to use. Here too, we can create folders for messages and send scheduled emails with a delay. Microsoft Outlook can also be useful for gamers – you need a Microsoft account to use the Xbox console. Thanks to this, emails after purchasing games and other operations would come to your phone immediately.
