How I hate Mondays! Complaining isn't just a Grumpy Smurf thing. 🙁 Returning to daily duties can be tough, especially after a great and relaxing weekend. On January 16th, we celebrated Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year. How did this Monday look at the Viking headquarters in Wrocław?
What's Blue Monday all about? 🥱
The term was introduced in 2005 by British psychologist Cliff Arnall. A researcher at Cardiff University, he took into account meteorological, psychological, and economic factors. The analysis indicates that the most depressing day of the year is the third Monday in January. We experience short and weak daylight then. Additionally, we realize our New Year's resolutions haven't been kept, and our wallets are often empty after the holidays.

Trick or treat quote! 🍬
In line with the #forallourown principle, we don't just serve our Vikings, we also work. 💪 On Monday, next to the kitchen, a surprise for body and soul awaited our crew. You could sweeten your day with a candy or take a motivational quote. 🥳 Or both! 🤩 The initiative's goal was not only to boost the team's mood but also to encourage chats over coffee. ☕

Did we prove that Blue Monday doesn't have to be boring? Every day is a good day to celebrate small gestures and bring a smile to another Viking's face. 🥰
